Parents? what's your take about threatening arrest for kids?

It's abuse of power because he could not arrest the boy since he did not commit a crime. Humiliating him and scaring him isn't going to change anything and will only make him resentful. Maybe if the parents had been more involved and had better communication and a better relationship with their daughter then this would not have happened in the first place. It's easy to blame the boy after the fact instead of looking at their own situation and what they could have done different as parents.
