I ordered 13 dvds from China & it is inbound at customs. Will I ever get it & will I be charged a fee?

So, I ordered P90X from China for $42 and it says it is inbound in customs in NY. This is my first time to order something overseas, so I have no idea what to expect. Will I get the item? How long will it stay in customs? Also, will I be charged for anything?
