Is it ok to wear jeans to "The Phantom of the Opera"?

They're not the jeans you wear every day. They're a darker-blue-than-normal jeans and I'll be wearing some cream wedge shoes and (if I can say so myself) a very nice green satin top. So do you think it would be ok? I don't want to look like a complete **** =P
